Membership
Anyone is welcome to purchase items from the shop.
We have two levels of membership open to residents of Boscombe and Springbourne
Green members benefit from buying food products at 30% - 50% off the retail price.
To be entitled to a green membership card, you will need to show that you: live in the target area or
live in the broader target area, and are entitled to free prescriptions
volunteers
Blue members will benefit from buying food products at 15% off the retail price.
anyone living in the Boscombe and Springbourne area who are not entitled to green membership are entitled to blue membership!
Non members can buy goods at retail price
Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help with the running of the food co-op. We need:
Promoters - promoting the benefits of co-op membership to local people
Shop welcomers - manning the shop, welcoming and selling products
Shop supervisors - weighing produce, organising orders, taking responsibility for the shop
Delivery cyclists - delivering produce on a thursday in the local area
